This Privacy Policy explains how YallaPlan ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web and mobile apps to plan trips, chat with your group, and discover places with Yalla Swipe.

• Account information - your email address and any display name, bio, or avatar you add to your profile.
• Trip content - trips, activities, ideas, saved places, votes, messages, and expenses you create or share with your group.
• Location - only if you choose to share it, to show nearby places in Yalla Swipe or set a home location in your taste settings.
• Swipe history - which places you like or pass on in Yalla Swipe, and a small taste profile built from that. You can download it, and it is deleted with your account.
• Usage data - basic device and interaction information that helps us keep the app reliable.

We use the information above to:

• Provide the core features of YallaPlan - trips, chat, swiping, itineraries, and expenses.
• Personalize Yalla Swipe recommendations based on your algorithm preferences and your swipe history.
• Power @yallaAI's replies, which are generated using the message content you send it.
• Keep the service secure and troubleshoot problems.

Trip content is visible to the other members of that trip - that's how group planning works. We don't sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers (for example, our database and AI providers) strictly to operate the app.

We use industry-standard practices, including row-level access controls on our database, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

You can edit or delete most of your content directly in the app - your profile, trips, posts, and saved places. To request a full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at hello@yallaplan.ai.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
